Default Indiana Jones banner

I just had one of my assistants put up my shiny new Indy banner today. Reminds me when I was a projectionist when the last movie came out...

Im sorry, but I had to put mine right into my collection. I've got all the LOTR, new Star Wars, Harry Potters and the original Spidey with the Twin Towers reflected in his eyes.

God I love my job.

All I need is to build an actual home theatre and hang some of this cool stuff up. Tofur, what are you counting on to be the highest grossing summer film? Im betting on Indy, but I think Narnia will give it a run for it's money.

Indy will post HUGE opening weekend numbers. The question is, will it be good and also have legs? If it does...watch out. People have been waiting almost 20 years for this. It will Episode I all over again (with out Jar Jar of course). If Spielberg blows it, then Narnia will give it a run. However, I will keep a close eye on the comic book films like DARK KNIGHT, IRON MAN and THE INCREDIBLE HULK (done right). These also have a chance to take the wind out the sails of Indy as well. Especially DARK KNIGHT, that new trailer was spectacular.

I agree. But Indy has a huge built in fan base, where as Batman has one good movie to its name. The question is can they repeat Begins success? And the Hulk is just the opposite. The first one made money, but ultimately people hated it. Narnia has proven itself I think with the first film. And Iron Man has me concerned. Im not sure Jon Favreau is the right choice for this. I mean, look at Dare Devil. The previews do look good though. Either way, we're in for a nice summer!
