i watched it last night in 3d. it only played in dts and not dts-hd. why doesnt it play in dts-hd while playing in 3d?

I assume you used the PS3 for playback. The PS3 can't handle lossless audio while playing back 3D content.

thx for the quick reply. im using the ps3 slim 120gb model. i have another blu-ray player. just dont feel like hooking it up & buying another cable for it.
