Well I have been doing some research myself as I may be buying a Mitsubishiu DLP in the near future. Many have complained that their first bulb goes within a year, but some have had their first bulb for about four years. And i have found several Mitsubishi bulbs for just over a hundred on Amazon and they are pretty easy to change yourself from what I understand. Also make sure that the bulb area is well ventilated and free from dust or it can overheat and diminish the life of the bulb.

I have the 73" version of this TV and I love it. Make sure you calibrate it though, out of the box I HATED the picture, after some fine tuning it's stunning.

I just ordered the 73" mitsubishi diamond series and was wondering if it can be tipped up on its end to make it through doorways and around corners??
