Default Panasonic 2011 Blu-ray player pricing info (DMP-BDT210, DMP-BDT110, and DMP-BD75)

Panasonic 2011 Blu-ray player pricing info (DMP-BDT210, DMP-BDT110, and DMP-BD75)

From one of my reliable mail order sources I have learned the suggested list prices on 3 of the new Panasonic Blu-ray players and also the mail order price some mail order companies will be selling them for.

I am hearing that the Panasonic DMP-BDT110 might be available for purchase as early as Feb 23rd or toward late Feb 2011. Products can be delayed by a few months sometimes so April or May might be more realistic.

1. Panasonic DMP-BDT210 3-D Blu-ray player: Suggested retail price $199.99 (mail order price under $160). UPC Code: 885170033481

2. Panasonic DMP-BDT110 3D Blu-ray player: Suggested retail price $149.99 (mail order price around $125). UPC Code: 885170033443

3. Panasonic DMP-BD75: Suggested retail price $99.99 (mail order price under $90). UPC Code: 885170033412

I do not have any pricing info for the 2011 top of the line Panasonic DMP-BDT310 3D Blu-ray player with dual HDMI outputs. I think that model is coming out in the later part of 2011 after the other 3 players are released (If I was to take an educated guess I think the Panasonic DMP-BDT310 might be priced at $249.99 list price).

As mentioned before all 2011 Panasonic Blu-ray players have no component video outputs and no 7.1 analog audio outputs. For more details on this issue see the following old link:

Default Very Good information...

Thanks HDTV1080p very informative. It seems the big companies especially Panasonic are hush hush about the newest players up until they are almost released. So this is practically a Blu-Ray "Scoop".

Again in 2011 none of the Panasonic Blu-ray players have 1GB of built in flash storage for BD-LIVE. One is required to purchase an external flash storage drive to use BD-LIVE (A minimum of 4GB of external storage is ideal for BD-LIVE).

I would recommend people pay the extra $35 street price ($50 list price) and purchase the DMP-BDT110 Blu-ray player over the DMP-BD75. The DMP-BD75 has no SD card slot, is not wireless ready, no 3-D capability, and no Skype video call feature. I am hearing that the DMP-BD75 should start shipping around March 24th or end of March if delays do not occur.

If one wants to use BD-LIVE on the DMP-BD75 they are forced to insert a USB flash drive in the front of the player. Cosmetically having a USB flash drive plugged into the front of the player does not look good. There is no rear USB jack on the DMP-BD75, only a front USB jack. Now all the other 2011 Panasonic Blu-ray players like the DMP-BDT110 have a built in SDXC card slot in the front for BD-LIVE. The SDXC card slot cosmetically looks good since it is hidden behind the flip down front panel. SDXC card slot will accept ExFAT, FAT32, FAT16, and FAT12 file formats. SDXC, SDHC, and SD cards are all supported for BD-LIVE and media playback. A front USB port is also provided for media playback. The DMP-BDT110 has a communication port in the back to plug in an optional wireless WI-FI adapter.

The big advantage to purchasing the Panasonic DMP-BDT210 is the fact that wireless WI-FI is already built into the player. Also minor things like a touch free sensor, and various other addition features are offered. For those that need wireless they should get the DMP-BDT210 for around $159.99 mail order.
