United Kingdom Mortal Kombat (1995)

Potential release date of 18th April. There are no pre-orders up yet, however the BBFC have just rated some bonus material and given it this release date. And the US are getting it, and the sequel MK: Annihilation, on the 19th, so chances are we could be getting it at the same time.

It's pretty much guaranteed now. Look for them in a future Play.com 2 For £18.

Play have Mortal Kombat: Annihilation on their website now as a placeholder, im guessing the first Mortal Kombat will follow.

Brilliant.

I was hoping for a few new special features for its release though. I know mountains of documentaries are unlikely but I'm sure Paul Anderson could have done a commentary with someone like Robin Shou.

These films are definitely a day one purchase for me, annihilation wasn't as good as the 1st one, but hey might as well get them both for the collection.

Where?

It says April 25th on this website for me:
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Morta...Blu-ray/20653/

Amazon also list it as the 25th currently, though their is nothing about them on the BVA website or anywhere else, so im not sure if they will actually be released on the 25th now as I would've thought a pre-order would be up by now.

Just ordered to join my guilty pleasure pile with Lock Up and Top Gun - supposedly 'now shipping' - re: it shipped already at 20:32 I'm sure my mrs will be thrilled at this being whacked on one night next week

It looks like the transfers leave a lot to be desired.

Any body got Mortal Kombat and see it? how is the transfer ?

I did read the review on here but reviewers tend to be over critical.not a bad thing but I always like reviews from the general movie watcher too.
