Yes. I am old, so I win. However, I have to comply, which I dont enjoy.

IMO the UK packaging for ROME is much nicer as well. Real cases, not the cardboard slots.

Exclamation Attention: All seasoned vets :p

To clarify my older fellows with short memory, I started this thread with 4 TITLES that i wanted to buy

1) TRUE BLOOD SEASON 1
2) TRUE BLOOD SEASON 2
3) DEADWOOD
4) JOHN ADAMS

Thanks to "antoinedoinel" who was NICE enough to point me to AMAZON.UK to buy them
(TRUE BLOOD SEASON 1 & 2) both for $65.xx

So, "mtugodfath3r" now do the MATH 4-2 = 2 (YEAH!) DEADWOOD/JOHN ADAMS

Older members can still do their "Winning & Complying" and type of essays of responses because there are other people that are taking advantage of this thread like picking up ROME/PACIFIC at good prices.

Please "old geezers" resume your protest

Deadwood is probably the safer bet. John Adams is excellent, but on the "slower" side of the stuff you posted. Definitely not something I'd automatically recommend blind buying

Why not get the best thing HBO has ever produced?

YES, WIRE & SOPRANOS are best shows EVER! but shouldn't you wait till HBO makes a blu ray version of them?
I already have got the SOPRANOS Complete Set on DvD, but i will be forced to upgrade to BLU if they ever produce the entire series.

They're safe to buy at the moment, though The Sopranos is slowly being released onto Blu already. Both shows were produced with SD in mind until the end of their runs though, so there is a lot of work that needs to be done. Will probably be years before every season of The Sopranos is available, and who knows how much longer for The Wire.

FWIW, both of these are dirt cheap on .co.uk, though I believe both may have slight issues due to the NTSC-PAL-NTSC conversion that will be happening. Don't have any way of checking though.

lol im young too... perhaps even younger than you :O

i realized what a stupid comment that was after I posted it :P

i think its more fun to find deals and then post them on here (after taking advantage of them... i learned that the hard way :P) than asking for all other members to do the work for me anyways... call me crazy

Yes, that is exactly what he is saying.
And....
wait for it....
He is absolutely correct!!!

Why is it so hard for people that make a mistake to just say I'm sorry and let it go?

As for JOHN ADAMS, when i said "IS IT ANY GOOD" i meant as in is it worth buying/watching? caz it doesn't really appeal to me.
I'm just wondering if anyone who owns it can either recommend it or tell me otherwise before i make the purchase.
I wouldn't know, I don't watch TV that's not sports really. But no problem on the Deadwood. I price match everything (within reason). A buck or two, probably not.. 5 and up, always.

Why is it so hard for Americans to stay out of the Canadian section?
