newbie region code question - Blu-ray Forum

I have Region B player and I want to buy The Aviator from amazon, however it clearly says its a region 1 (A) however according to http://bluray.liesinc.net/#brus this should not be the case! So whats the deal?

I have region B players (laptop and PS3) and it works fine. Warner don't region encode or at least they haven't so far. As per normal with Warner there is NO region symbol on the back.

what even say harry potter collection? I thought all movies 1 year old have a region coding. Am I wrong?
