What are the chances of us getting decent releases of some Vincent Price horror films.
I've just watched The Abominable Dr. Phibes and Dr. Phibes Rises Again. The transfer's would need a bit of work but these films, along with, The Raven, Tales of terror, The Pit and the Pendulum, Masque of the Red Death, Theatre of Death of all classics and could look great in high def. |

I hope so but they do need a bit of a clean up.

![]() (Those are the good ones, but unfortunately, Price's glory days were with Amer.Int'l, and not sure whether MGM's still even got the Midnite Movies catalog. Think Warner's got Theater of Blood, and a HD print has showed up on streaming, but that's it. And might as well throw in "Witchfinder General"--Which technically wasn't a horror film but the first of the icky "Inquisition porn" craze of the turbulent late 60's/early 70's, but has Price's nastiest performance since Masque. ![]() |
