All but Heavy Rain mentioned there. I have all these though. Oh well. Uncharted 2 and Heavy Rain for $30 are fantastic deals, especially U2 GOTY with the DLC.

And you can get three of these for $60 next week at best buy. $20 each. RIDICULOUS!!

Edit: FYI, last time these dropped I think it took a few days for pricing to filter down to store levels.

Ugh... I really hate the new Greatest Hits packaging ever since they changed the PS3 logo (and I was never a fan of it on PS1 or PS2 either). It wasn't so bad back when they were using the 'Playstation 3' logo in the Spider-Man movie title font... the only difference was that there was a small red stripe across the top of the box art that said "Greatest Hits" and the case was red (which could be easily fixed by just getting some clear cases).

Now these just look like ass. I mean, look at Uncharted 2. Too much text and other crap. Granted, there is the option of hunting down the original packaging at the discounted price before it disappears, but in the case of some games, like Uncharted 2, the GH edition includes content that would otherwise be paid DLC. It's like "here, we'll give you the content for free, but the game has to come in a box that looks like it was inspired by cat-barf."

Already have GOW 3 will pickup Uncharted 2 and Mod nation Racers at Best Buy Tomorrow and Ill have to check my wal mart to see if they Have Heavy Rain as Best Buy no longer carries this game Typical Best Buy crap.

.....unless you pick up the original Game of the Year Edition, then you have the best of both worlds.

I had to drive about 10 miles to another Best Buy to secure one of the original GOTY copies; once the GH copies become available at the Best Buy near me this Friday, I'll return the red case for a refund and keep the clear case for my collection. Hey, I never said I was rational.

It's finally time for me to pick up God of War III and perhaps also Heavy Rain (yeah, I'm ashamed to admit I haven't picked them up yet as I was too busy with other games)

By the way, I love the red cases for the Platinum games in the US. In Europe, we get crappy silver ones:

I've already got Heavy Rain and ModNation Racers, but I've waited on Uncharted 2, since (for a variety of reasons) I've yet to finish the first one. Maybe now I'll just pick it up.
