Someone explain this one to me. Like, all of it.
Or point me in the direction of some good online essays on it. ![]() |

The majority of the film was a dream. Much like in real life, Diane had carried aspects of reality into her dream (the use of the term "This is the girl," the relevance of the blue key, etc). The last thirty minutes or so (which aren't shown in chronological order) show things how they really are. Diane feels rejected by Camilla, who is involved with the film director, and hires a hitman to kill her. Beset by guilt, she shoots herself.
An oversimplified explanation, I know, but you get the idea. |

I saw the title of the Thread real quick in a glance and I thought for a second it said "Another Mulholland Drive? WTF?!11' Thread as In Mulholland Drive 2? lol as In Mulholland Drive 2: Drive Angry! lol anyways I thought that would be stupid to have a Sequel to Mulholland Drive but on Topic, It's my Fav. David Lynch Movie and I don't care if it doesn't make sense do to David Lynch's storytelling it's just a "WTF is going on?" movie I enjoy
