Buddy Holly Story STREETS 2/28 - Blu-ray Forum

Has anyone picked up Gary Busey's Oscar nominated role in "The Buddy Holly Story" that streets 2/28 in the UK????? How's the high-def imagery and sound????? Is it Region Free or only Region B?????

Any extras??????

This is WORST blu ray that I have ever seen. I have over 400 blu rays and I have not found one BR that has a worse picture quality than my DVD of the same movie...until now. Where in the world did these guys get the master from...a betamax tape perhaps? The Blu Ray picture is so washed out that my Columbia/Tristar DVD has better color and detailed. They should be ashamed to put this crap out and call it a blu ray disc. It is Region B locked. The sound (2/4 channel stereo) is the same as the DVD only a little bit louder. Avoid this BR at all costs.

PS> The running time on the Blu Ray is 109 minutes, while the DVD is 114 minutes. Missing 5 minutes...........
