I fell like Charlie Brown at Halloween - "I got a rock." I did get the Simpson movie though. My son got Superbad so we watched that, too. Looks like I'll be hitting the BOGOs.

I got Pursuit of Happyness and Prison Break Season 1... not near what I thought I'd get, but I guess that means it's time to shop!

Christmas was great in terms of getting blu rays. I managed to persuade my dad in getting a blu ray player instead of a HD-DVD player. I got
David Gilmour: Remember That Night
Superbad
Underworld: Evolution
The Lives Of Others
Blade Runner
...and for the PS3
Gran Turismo Prologue
Rock Band

A great blu Christmas

I received the Spider-Man Trilogy boxed set as well as the first three Die Hard movies (I already had the 4th one). The Die Hards technically are my birthday gift which isn't until 2 weeks after Christmas, but my mom (who got them for me) asked if I'd just rather have them at Christmas time, and I said yes. I'm off of work until Jan 3rd, so I will have time to watch and enjoy them.

Also, even though it technically wasn't a Christmas present since I bought it for myself, I ordered a PS3 and received it on Chrismtas Eve (my Samsung player has been annoying me, so this is replacing it as my main BD player). I got the Sony Credit Card and ordered the system from Sony Style to get that $100 rebate deal. Plus I get to send in for the 5 free movies.

Meet the Robinsons, Cars, Harry Potter 4, the Descent.

The big jackpot was a nice Samsung HT-TX75 Htib and a Philips 42" 1080p tv.

Don't say anything though, haha - I had to half pay for the TV and agree that it would be a combined Xmas / Birthday present.

Worth it though.

I didn't receive any Blu-Ray movies because I buy everything as soon as they come out. I am up to 66 films, so I can pretty much say it's been a Blu-Year.

I got THE SIMPSONS MOVIE from my brother, which was kind of a foregone conclusion. And when he saw all the really expensive stuff I got him, he said he'd get me some Blu-Ray titles for me. Today, we went to BestBuy and he got the Blu-Ray edition of THE AVIATOR. And when the Kubrick Blu-Rays and LIFE OF BRIAN finally come to Canada at the end of January, I'll see if I can get him to buy a few more of those for me.

I got to watch the Adriatic a lot, which actually wasn't very blue -- more like grey.

But I got my share of Blu-rays, too -- latest arrivals being The Road Warrior and The Searchers, with 8 more stuck in the Christmas glut, and the latest purchases being The Host, Oldboy, Pan's Labyrinth, and the amazing third season of Lost.

I bought myself a PS3 and Blood Diamond. Can't for my 2008 to be Blu.
