Talking Notice a trend?

I guess it's good news the few times I visit AVS forums and see more and more people going format "neutral". That is, the other format owners going neutral with Blu-ray.

I don't see the opposite happening. Another good sign.

Have a safe New Year everyone.

what even funnier is they don't want to look bad to their hd dvd friends. so they say ''purple but supporting red'' or ''neutral for the few blus I want. blu: 40 titles. red:20''

I was in Best Buy today and scene a customer browsing the HD DUD section and he had 5-6 HD DUD's in his hand.I was going to ask him why he was going to buy that crap but bit my tong as it was none of my business. I did notise the HD DUD section seems to be shrinking while the Blu-Ray section seems to be getting larger.

Best Buy in Schaumburg, IL (massive BB) has 5 fixture sections for BD and 1 for HD-DVD. They also had 2 end caps for BD. So around 6 to 1 shelf space.

I was even shocked to see that. Thinking about brining the camera there just to take a pic for you all, it's a beautiful thing to see.

the guy is probably a hd dud fanatic and buying all those discs just to support the format he chose. being a early adopter you definitely do not want the format you spent all that hard earned cash on to fail. he probably bought titles he doesnt even like just to try and win it for the red team.

I think a lot of HD DVD supporters are finally realizing(what took so long?) that they will never see Disney, Fox, and Sony titles on HD DVD. Hence they are caving and buying into Blu-ray. It will be a matter of months before they realize that they have been swindled on an inferior format in HD DVD and go blu-exclusive.
