Arn 1&2 - Blu-ray Forum

I'm looking for these 2 movies on blu-ray with EN subs if there are any..

I know that the International release is a version of the 2 movies together so were missing around 2 hours of film. I would like to get my hands on the real versions with EN subs.

I hope someone can help me out

I didn't know there were two films, or that the international release was a combination of both. Very interesting...

I've been after the proper versions as well.

Interesting that you should ask, for this week Australian label Eagle Entertainment will be re-releasing the film here in an extended version with 60 extra minutes missing from the international cut. So far this is the longest version with English subtitles.
I have the previously released AUS version & it has English subtitles.

- Arn-Collector's Edition - Blu ray

I find it very annoying that they couldn't just release both films separately instead of editing them into one shortened film. Which ends up at half the running time of both.

SWEDISH VERSIONS
139mins Arn: The Knight Templar (Arn - Tempelriddaren) 2007
128mins Arn: The Kingdom at Road's End (Arn - Riket vid vägens slut) 2008
267mins in total

Edited together versions
139mins UK/AUSTRALIA
133mins CANADA/USA/FRANCE
6min NTSC/PAL difference I presume

Collectors (edited together) version
194mins AUSTRALIA
But still we are missing at least 73mins.

So far this has been an unmitigated mess.

This is as dumb as the still unavailable English subtitled Millenium trilogy extended versions (original Swedish TV aired). Seriously, what is wrong with these companies? Do they think english speakers are stupid & can't handle reading subtitles for too long?

I can clear something up for you guys. There are two theatrical movies based on Arn. The first one is Arn: Tempelriddaren and the second Arn - Riket vid vägens slut in swedish. These two movies is based on the THREE first books in the book series by Jan Guillou (he has written 4 books in total about Arn). The second movie is based on the second and the third book (for some reason). There's also a mini-series shown on the TV that is much longer than the both movies.

Duration times:
Arn: Tempelriddaren - 133min
Arn: Riket vid vägens slut - 128min
Arn: Hela historien (Mini-series) - 329min

These can be bought on Blu-ray in Sweden but they do not have english subtitles or audio.
