Hey guys i was interested in buying this tv and was wondering if it was good i also have a couple of questions like do i need 120 hz and/or LED i will be using this tv for blu-ray and tv because the NBA playoffs are coming up and i no longer want to watch blurays on a 24 inch monitor because i feel like i dont get a great experience out of watching them.BTW if you could recommend a better tvfor under $500 price is firm thx in advance.

I have the 42LE5300 (10" larger), and have had it since December. I got mine on sale for 750. It's a really nice tv. I paired it up with a Panny 65 Blu-Ray player, and have had superb picture quality. The 32" model's bound to be fantastic too, so I would go for it. I went with the LED because it had more features with it than the LCD models from LG at a similar size, despite the price being almost 200-300 more at the time.
If you have a USB drive, you can throw almost any video format at it to play directly on the TV. Even VOB rips, although it won't play the VOBs in consecutive order seamlessly, you need to select the next one once you finish the first. It's a bit fussy on certain audio/video codecs though. |
