True. One of the worse movies ever made and yet the idiots decide to make a Steelbook for it.

Looks like Universal are trying to take advantage of us steelbook collectors.

Sorry Universal, but just because Kick-Ass and Scott Pilgrim were well received enough to get steelbooks, the same didn't happen for Skyline. It doesn't deserve one.

I have a feeling that only a few of these will sell.

But I must admit, that if this is going to be the final art , it looks really nice. Even the blue FSK Sticker fits a little bit

Well can you blame them? Some of you guys buy god awful movies just because it's SteelBook.

Case in point:

Worst movies? Geez if thats the worst movie you've ever seen your quality scale is pretty high.

I admit the rich Hollywood lifestyle at the beginning was pointless character building that has nothing to do with the plot. It was no worse than most alien invasion movies imo. I bet Battle LA has exactly the same plot.

I enjoyed the movie once it got going.

Wow really, I kinda liked it except the way they ended it. What was so bad about it?? I seen a hell of a lot of worse movies then that. The special effects were pretty damn good considering the budget of the movie. A lot of the Monster/Alien movies have shit endings though. Cloverfield, the Mist are 2 that I can think of.

The acting wasn't that bad either so I'd like to hear from some of you haters out there what you found that bad about it?

I agree, the hate for this movie is exaggerated. This is not a masterpiece, but it is an entertaining invasion movie with great special effects. Steelbook looks cool

The movie portrays the US military as a much weaker force than most movies.

lol so you think they would fare better in real life if this type of invasion was actually going to happen. GG Human race, we'd be done. It's Sci Fi not meant to be real but this is one of the better invasion movies I have seen in a long time. Sure there was hardly any character development unlike in Indepence day which I thought had a bit too much of it.
