I think that I am going to start buying some of these DVDs.

However, before I do...has there been any talk about these coming to Blu-ray by chance?

Not that I know of. Only problem with the dvds is they aren't being released in seasons but by smaller volumes. So its not really an efficient way to collect the series....I'm lucky enough to have almost all of the episodes divided by season in avi format...I take my mst3k collection where ever I go: work, home, vacations...everywhere lol...

More and more of the classic episodes are being added to netflix streaming if you have access. Also, MST3k has a channel or 2 on justin.tv. They randomize the episodes and you can watch them with other fans and text chat simultaneously. Pretty fun. If you are into torrenting or usenet, mst3k seasons can be found in their entirety... ...sometimes only pirates get what they want.

Since they're on cable-era videotape, umm....no.

judging by the review of Mega Piranha, I'm really hoping that we get a Rifftrax out of it. The it would definitely be worth the 4.99 price tag at bb.

Thumbs up Awesome show.

Why do people like this show? The movies they feature are always so bad. I'm kidding of course I'm a big MST3K fan.

Seeing the guy on his back kicking the CG piranhas out of the air is hilarious (Look at me! I can do pilates anywhere!). And Tiffany's acting is over the top bad.
I'm surprised there hasn't been a Rifftrax version of Sharktopus or DinoCroc. With the crappy acting and bad CG, they're infinitely riff worthy.

I really want to see the Birdemic riff. If the blu-ray gets down to 4.99 like Mega Piranhas, I'll definitely buy that and the riff!
