Yuzo,

I know it's the exact opposite from what you were asking, but what would be the best site to import form UK to US in your opinion?

Amzon.com is a popular choice & especially during the BOGOFs, Ebay is alright i guess if you buy from a power seller

I've tried to use Amzon.com but it seems my bank isn't sending me the right type of card i can use till i hit 18, the work around may be you can use an Amzon.co.uk account but i haven't tried yet

I import all my titles from the US.

You can use Movietyme, and order as many titles as you wish without any import charges.

I also regularly use Amazon.com for individual titles, even with postage they cost only £15-£17, they are also counted in the Nielson sales rankings if your interested in that. They can take a couple of weeks to arrive however.

You'll only have import charges if the goods, minus postage, is £18 or above.

I would say over 50% of my BD collection is imported from the US. And 100% of those are from amazon.com. Great service. Alot of the US releases have better audio and some also have better transfers.

can i ask why you import "all" titles from the US?

70% of the time titles will be around the same price shipping from a UK website.

.. unless youre using a US PS3?

Play.com are also good, prices slighlt more than sendit but there websites better & never had a problem with them

I only used sendit once, my order somehow got duplicated, could have been my own fault, checked order to see if it was ready to be dispatched, turns out i had two of the same orders, i could have cancelled if i realised mistake earlier for duplicate orders, i rang the company & was told i can send them back for full refund, i decided i was bit too skeptical about returning items like that & would sell them instead mysel

Could actually sell them enough to get a third BR free

Amazon.
Movietyme

dvdexpress.

who evers got the best deal gets the££. all of the above have been reliable.

Amazon can be a bit slow with shipping some times but the bogo deals have made up for that..

US PS3.

US PS3's are cheaper and games are region free, so makes sense.

I can pick up the odd UK release that is early i.e. Life of Brian.

For Importing Blu-rays I Would Go To www.play.com For The UK & www.playusa.com For The USA Both Are Very Good 3 to 4 Days For Delivery Never Had Any Problems With Both Sites.

For those going the other way (importing FROM the UK):

So far I've only used Sendit.com and I've bought:

Crimson Tide
Starship Troopers
The Rock
Con Air
and
Bruce Almighty (you'll love seeing the Universal opening logo)

I pretty much import all my titles from Amazon.com too.
Two reasons.
1. The weak dollar makes it pretty much a no-brainer.
2. I have the 10% discoubt too.

plus, delivery times are quite good, I generally have my discs within a week, 2 weeks max.

BTW, I have a US PS3 and I'm in Ireland.
