College Basketball fantasy pool - Blu-ray Forum

It is that time of year gentlemen. Much like last year, I figured it would be really fun to have a Blu-ray.com NCAA basketball tournament pool. I'm not sure how many would be interested in playing for a small financial obligation. I was thinking we could do a $10 or $20 Amazon gift card, depending on how many participants we get we may also be able to offer some incentives to second and third place. You guys did the AMZ GC last year right? As far as I'm concerned. I have no problems with it as long as it doesn't get out of hand which I'm sure it won't. We have good members here. Go Duke!

yep we did this last year, it was $10/per person, everyone paid as well, i lost

I should of joined but I had a lot of doubt that Duke would of won, but they did.

I believe I came in second or so, only because Duke won. I think I was in first going into the final game since I rode Butler pretty far, but someone with Duke winning it all passed me.

If we can get enough people, I say $20 each and pay most to 1st and some to 2nd and maybe even 3rd plays for free. If not, $10 each and winner takes all.

Do you think your brother would be interested? I know he's not a member of Bluray.com, but as long as everyone else would voice no concerns I have no problem having him in the pool.

Possibly. He will probably be in the other one I do for $20. I don't do it online and have to keep track myself of the actual paper brackets. Points go up by 5 each round, but you get bonus points for upsets in the 1st round. If you pick a 9 to beat an 8, you get the standard 5 points for picking the winner, plus the difference of the seeds, which would be 1 bonus point in that case. If a 16 beat a 1, you'd get 5 plus 15 bonus points. I wish online sites would let you do something like that, makes it interesting imo.

It looks like Michigan might sneak into the tournament Schultzy, if you pick them to go to the final four you'll easily win our bracket. Show some faith in your team.
