Indian SONY virsion KAL HO NA HO is very very good bluray transfer detail and color are best then yrf

for some reason i ma unable to see the SS of Sony. I specifically wanted to know whether the sony BDs suffer from Contrast Boosting which YRF has. If it doesnt, the will be sole reason for me to double dip on these titles. Can anyone help me guys?

My Sony KKHH review.

I just got the KKHH blu ray from Sony. I had to double dip for this one. I wasnt very happy with the yash raj version because of the neon colours and some scenes were completely out of focus. I paid alot for this cuz i had to ship it overseas.

Let me start by saying. its definitely a better blu ray than the YRF version. for starters the Widescreen is perfect.. i'm no professional so i donno how to describe it exactly but it looks much better. i dont think the authoring is the same as yrf because this blu ray is miles ahead of the yash raj version. the audio is great too..

for me this is at the level or better than yrf's k3g (which was rated best of the three)
after seeing this blu ray.. now im thinking ill get the other two karan johar movies..

those who waited.. ur lucky go grab all three now!

i also wanna add that the jewel case is the original thin blu ray jewel case. unlike the fat cases yrf uses. the menu/pop up menu aren't cheesy ..

no water marks (not that i saw any skipping thru whole disk)

1 bad thing. the default audio is dolby .. dtshd must be set manually

iv got kal ho na ho and kabhi khushi kabhi gham , trhey both r amazing !! i wasnt sure aboutkuch kuch hota hai , but now i am , so ill get it today !!

wow im surprised that the transfers are different from YRF and that they are better, im gonna have to pick these up for sure now.

No special features , but thankfully unlike bhv , the starting parts like ( bhv intro , dts hd intro ) etc can be forwarded !!!

btw srkbeno do u own both the YRF and Sony version of Kal Ho Na Ho, if so is it worth buying again? i just want to make sure because i own the Yash Raj versions of KHNH, K3G and KKHH on bluray and am considering buying the Sony versions if they are improved in Picture quality.

I have rapideye kkkg virsion also in all 3 virsion rapideye yashraaj and sony sony is no 1 bluray colors and detail are very very good we canot find is this old moive sony virsion is hghly recomonded

it hurts to say it .. but the sony versions are far better as far as PQ is concerned. i have both.

I have all 3 titles, KKHH, KKKG and KHNH. All 3 dont work on ps3, the screen goes blank, and the connectivity is on HDMI. Interestingly Band Bajaa works fine , so do all other BDs in the same mode. Anyone facing similar issue ?

try updating ur firmware as they work fine on my ps3 !!!

I changed the resolution to 720p and it works now. Arent the BDs supposed to play even on 1080p ???? wierd !

1080i works too. but not 1080p, is it becoz am on HDMI to DVI ?

It could be a problem with the cable3 you are using. That is unless the problem is limited to only playing these three blu-rays in 1080p, in which case this is a rather strange issue.
