Thanks for the heads up Ripley! Down for this one. Nobody looks better than Tony Curtis in drag, well except for Cary Grant in I was Male War Bride ....

I just caught this on HBO Comedy HD last weekend and it looked great. Can't wait to pick this up.

I caught The Apartment in HD a couple of weeks ago and thought how much I would like to own this on BD one day. Hopefully this comes sometime this year.

Why stop there? We also need Sunset Boulevard, Ace In The Hole and The Private Life Of Sherlock Holmes! Maybe Criterion could get in on the act - they released Ace In The Hole on DVD.

A must buy. I'd go for all of the Billy Wilder titles mentioned here but let me add One, Two, Three, his under appreciated farce poking fun at Communism, Capitalism and even Naziism. Builds to a breakneck pace with superb comic timing from James Cagney

Great and incredibly funny film! But I honestly think I'll just stick with my DVD set for this one. It looks pretty good for what it is...

OMG, yes!! One of my most anticipated titles, bring on the black-and-whites!

With Taxi Driver, Papillon, Cercle Rouge, Solaris, Diabolique, Incredibles, etc. coming out this Spring, 2011 is shaping up to be the year of the blu-ray.
