How do you block someone

How do you block someone from either posting on your thread, or to just block them in general.

Can I block posts, emails and messages from specific users?

If there are particular members that bother you and you do not want to see their posts or receive Private Messages and Emails from them, then you can add these members to your 'Ignore List'. There are several ways to do this:

Through your User Control Panel: User CP, Settings & Options, Edit Ignore List. Then, type their name into the empty text box and click 'Okay'.

What if I see something offensive?

You will find 'Report' links in many places throughout the board. These links allow you to alert the board staff to anything which you find to be offensive, objectionable or illegal.

Put your profile in "invisible" mode. That way they won't follow you, or know where exactly your location is on the forum.

Just a tip...It would of helped also if you use the search feature before making a new thread. 8/10 times or majority of the time. That subject has been discussed and covered which happens on a daily basis. Another thing too is that it will also prevent other members that will become annoying to you. Make sense?

I am assuming from some recent experiences of mine, that adding someone to your Ignore List, unfortunately doesn't stop said person from seeing my posts though, even although I am ignoring/hiding theirs?

I'd like to add that it also doesn't prevent them from quoting you (which is fine and hard to prevent I guess) and (which is annoying) from showing up under: "Most recent forum activity in the last hour: new replies/quotes to your posts.".
