I shouldn't be in here, I know , but I have always been curious about these FSK-16 "showcase" titles and the differences between them and FSK-18 "instructional" titles.

Essentially, I'm wondering how the content levels differ in an FSK-16 and an FSK-18 "softcore" title.

Also, one of these FSK-16 titles has very good reviews:

LOL, McCrutchy. I don't think I saw that one on Grooves. I've been curious to see an adult title in HD even though this is probably just naked chicks running around for an hour than anything else. Plus, I thought $15 wasn't that bad.

Batman XXX is finally out on blu-ray. This is one title that seems to be the best first adult blu-ray for people in here...

Don't get your hopes up These are not exactly 'adult' titles. They are basically a slightly more provocative version of the Sports Illustrated Babes Swimsuit series...with a few of the girls without the swimsuites. A lot of these series are broadcast on big channels, such as RTL, late at night in Germany (and around Europe via satellite).

My review:

If You Live In Germany, You See This Every Night.

As stated in my review for the German release of Silent Hill, I lived in Germany for a few years. At midnight, the stations change to more adult themed material. On a channel which I forget it's name it had a program called "Sexy Fight Night" which had nothing to do with fighting and it was a woman or women stripping down and touching their bodies for several minutes in sports themed locations like a bowling alley or a tennis court, etc. These would last several minutes before going to another loop. This would go on from midnight to six in the morning in Germany.

Now, since I guess this is movie length, I'd give it a 3/5. It was ok. The women were ok. There was 8 scenes that went on for 84 minutes. Out of the eight scenes, I liked the blonde in the field in the third scene. The video ranges and I mean it's hit and miss. Some look sharp, some look soft, some look like they suffer from DNR. Even though I liked the third scene it is the worst PQ wise. It's DNR'd to the max here; video get's a 3/5

The audio is a music track that is this like type of music to relax too. Kinda like elevator music or something like that. 5/5. Extras are a picture gallery that goes on for like 20 minutes and the pictures are mostly better quality than the video. Extras get a 4/5. Even though averaged up this equals to 3.75, I'm rounding down to 3.5 Because the varying PQ is the five letter "B" word for a female dog. Wasn't bad for $15. Will get Vol. 2 sooner or later, not in a rush.

LOL. I've only watched it once and that was the day I got it. This probably does have some replay value if I'm really up to it. The same studio that released this Blu-ray does aquariums and fireplace Blu-rays in Germany.

I really had to satisfy my curiosity about these titles. And so I've ordered both Bollywood Nudes and one of the new "Penthouse präsentiert..." Blu-rays (supposedly exclusive to Amazon.de?) from Grooves, and Bollywood Nudes arrived today.

Bollywood Nudes is a surprisingly sound release, technically speaking, using 47,860,970,132 bytes of a BD-50, there is a over four hours of 1080p content on the disc (127 minutes for the main presentation, 83 minutes of photo slideshows, 37 minutes of bonus scenes and 8 minutes of trailers), most of which I skimmed through. Additionally, the main and bonus scenes have DTS-HD MA 5.1 and DTS-HD MA 2.0 music options, while the photo slideshows and trailers have DTS-HD MA 2.0 only. No subtitles are provided or required and the menus are all in English only.

I have two problems with this release: The first is that beginning in the middle of the presentation, giant snakes come into play. The vignettes do get slightly more daring/explicit as time goes on, and by this time you have completely naked girls laying in beds letting these absolutely massive reptiles slide between their legs. I don't really have a phobia of snakes, but forgive me if I can't find it sexy to look at a creature who could crush one of these girls and begin devouring her corpse.

But the biggest problem was the editing, which ruined the eroticism of the strip teasing by constantly shifting to different shots. While the camera would spend spend some time lingering on say, a shot of girl's body, eventually it would fade out and in to a different shot and this ruins the flow of the piece. After having viewed one of these titles, I imagine it would be better to shoot them in continuous, fluid shots as much as possible, and always in forward continuity.

The Penthouse title hasn't arrived yet from Grooves, but I'll be curious to see what they did with it.

Otherwise, I think I'm going to finally give in and grab Emmanuelle from the UK, especially since I was recently told that during a family visit, one of the girls found "that Asian porn movie you have", so at this point, if legitimate films are going to be misinterpreted anyway, I don't care anymore.
