Default Sharp BD-HP20U and Underdog no audio

Does anyone else have a problem with no audio in the movie? Audio works fine in menu and extras, BUT in the movie I get no audio, but if I press Pause, then unpause Audio works for 2 seconds then cuts out again. Sharp said they have no issues with the movie, all works fine in my PS3 though.

Default Underdog issue

Hi,

I just bought Underdog for my son and there is no audio when I play the movie. Sound stops in the middle of the main menu. When I play one of the extra features and get back to main menu then I have sound for the whole main menu but sound disapears again when I play the movie (no matter which language I selected). I have a lot of BDs and never had a problem. I also have installed last software update.

There is definitly a software issue with the Sharp BD player and this disk. Looking at other threads, I found that we are not the only ones to have this issue.

Sorry I can't help (

I finally succeeded in making it work. I selected one of the Extras, then clicked on the Popup Menu and selected the option to go back to the movie and it worked. Sometimes, you have to do it several times before it works. Good luck!

Angry Too much effort to watch a movie.

I will be returning the Blu-ray and picking it up in standard DVD. You pay enough for these movies that you shouldn't have to hope they work everytime you buy a new movie. They should always work! I am very dissapointed. I had both my kids ,3 & 4 years old all psyched to watch the movie, and total dissapointment. Blu-ray and the makers of Blu-ray movies need to get their stuff together.

I do not have the Underdog BD but am experiencing Frank M's audio problem
with No Country For Old Man. First bought the BD and when it's time to watch the
main feature there was no audio. So got it replaced and still no audio until
I went to Popup Menu and the audio finally came on mid stream. Then have
to like reverse back to the starting of the feature and it was smooth sailing.

So far this is the only BD with this problem and the rest of my BD purchases
were flawless.
