Default Recently watched "I Am Number 4" Some questions.

I enjoyed this flick a lot. I always like movies like this, and as far as simple special effects action flicks go, it was good.

However I do have to point out that I don't recall another movie that had SO MUCH STUFF that was in the trailers that was NOT in the movie itself.

There's usually a scene or two in the trailers that get edited out or whatever, as the trailers usually come out before the movie is done editing and whatnot, but this was crazy.

The following moments from the trailer, I don't recall being in the movie.

1. John and his girlfriend sitting in her room looking through her photography book and her saying "that's kinda private".

2. The guy who ran the paranormal website says, "If they kill you, we're all gonna die"

3. The scene of Olyphant telling John that "you can only be killed in sequence", and John asking what number he was.

4. Him telling the girl "I've been to a lot of places, this is a pretty good place". (at least I don't remember that from the movie.

5. Him saying "you have no idea what I'm capable of" was altered in the movie where the Mog thing has him by the throat and says "you have no idea...." and then John lights up his bullet things and says "...what I'm capable of".

And the final point, was that what are some other movies that are similar to this. The ones I can think of are Jumper and Push. Percy Jackson I suppose, The Covenant is similar, and I SUPPOSE the Harry Potter flicks.

But what are some other movies where kids have these powers, and there are bad people after them because of it?

ASIDE from the X-Men/Marvel/DC superhero stuff. Just like regular kids or whatever, not superheroes.

I actually like movies like this. I loved Jumper, Loved Percy Jackson & THe Lightning Thief, Kinda dug The Covenant, although it slowed down a bit in the middle.

Still haven't seen Push though.

question 1 and 4 are in the movie.

Race to with mountain is pretty similar to this movie both the old version and new 2010 movie with the Rock or Dwayne Johnson if you prefer.

Flight of the navigator is kind of similar although the boy doesn't have powers

I'm almost positive that #1 was not in the movie. He never looked at her book. He looked at her website, and then he caught her outside the store and he joked about the "strangers in paradise" title, but I don't believe he ever went up to her room, or even to her house, unless the big party where the cops came for him was hers.

Also, I didn't care for the Witch Mountain remake, although when I was a kid I dug the original. And I loved Flight of the Navigator when I was a kid.

Unless the American version was cut more than the UK version then it was 100% in the movie.
