United Kingdom Source Code (2011) - Blu-ray Release Thread

Going by the trailer for it, this looks awesome and I really want to see it

The BBFC recently classified it aswell including a possible release date of 15th/August/2011 for the Blu-ray/DVD release here in the UK, and it seems likely as that day is a Monday.

Really fun film, and I <3 Jake, so will be getting this.

Would be cool if it got a Steelbook but I think it's being distributed by Optimum in the UK and I'm not sure they've done many in the past, so...

A Steelbook would be sweet for this.

I went to the cinema to see it, and it's genuinely a good movie. I've heard that it's apparently received mixed reviews, which really does baffle me as it's a good movie from every angle. Sure it's a little predictable, and there's a few mistakes, but for what it is, it's certainly worth watching and buying. I'd rate it a solid 7.5/10. I don't know about a day 1 buy for me as there's so much coming out these coming months, but if it does get a Steelbook or slipcover release, then I'll probably get it 1st week though.

It actually, quite rightly, has had pretty positive reviews... 74 on metacritic, and 90% on RottenTomatoes making it the best-reviewed non-indie film so far this year (according to the latter)...

This is a must-buy for me. Really enjoyed it in the cinema and I am a big fan of Jones' previous film, Moon.

A Steelbook would be awesome.

Ah sweet. I've not actually seen any of the reviews, I'd just been told it's received a few poor reviews for some reason. No idea why it did - maybe in publications and newspapers. I thought the film was good myself, and as I say I'll definitely be looking to buy it.

Definite Day 1 purchase for me, I loved it. This and Moon prove that Duncan Jones shows a lot of potential. This film deserves a steelbook too, really hope it gets one.

I didn't really think that the trailers for this looked that great, it just looked your typical action film with a little twist that everyone will have forgotten about given a couple of months. But everyone seems to be rating it really highly, so for that reason SB ordered!
