I've only seen Life Aquatic and Rushmore and I think I liked them both the same. Maybe a sight edge to Life Aquatic.

I like the Concept of Steve Zissou very much, I am a fan of Bill Murray. I don't recall having as much as a positive reaction as I did with The Royal Tenenbaums, however.

The Royal Tenenbaums for me.

Having seen everything, with the exception of 'Mr. Fox,' I think that 'Royal Tenenbaums' is his best film, but 'Life Aquatic' is easily my favorite. As far as character development, dramatic tension and story arc though, 'Royal Tenenbaums' is close to a masterpiece. I just find 'Life Aquatic' much more entertaining.

The Royal Tenenbaums is his best work and my most favorite of his. Rushmore, Fantastic Mr. Fox, and The Life Aquatic are all exceptionally great films as well. I'm not much of a fan of Bottle Rocket, and I have yet to see The Darjeeling Limited.

it was a really tough call between Tennenbaums and Bottle Rocket but The Royal Tennenbaums is my favorite.
if i had to rate them
1. The Royal Tennenbaums
2. Bottle Rocket
3. Rushmore
4. Fantastic Mr Fox
5. Life Aquatic
6. Darjeeling Limited

Bottle Rocket. The others were quite good but I'm not rushing to buy them on Blu-ray disc the same I'd like to own Bottle Rocket.
