Default advice for 26" TV under $250

A friend of mine needs something like this for the kids bedroom, I told her I don't really read much about the small screen.

She said, all she could find were Vizio at walmart and she was not convinced with them.

Any advice will be welcome, thanks

Honestly, at that size and for the kids room I would head on down to your local pawn shop and buy a CRT for $20.

Funny you should say that, there is one at the kid's bedroom like that so I asked what is wrong with it? She said, it doesn't have enough port to hook stuff to it. I told her to buy a switch and she said the idea was to buy the kid a new TV.

So.. I couldn't agree with you more.

Tell her not to be silly and get the cheapest TV she can find with the inputs she requires. For a kids room she shouldn't be spending a tun of money as we all know how kids can be.
