Rate the chances these movies will come to Blu-Ray. With the release of Battle Beyond the Stars and Damnation Alley, two movies I never thought I’d even see on DVD it seems anything is possibly, at least where older movies are concerned. So what are the odds on these?

My predictions, for movies I'm aware of...

The Wraith (probably not anytime soon)

Masters of the Universe (not anytime soon)

Conan the Barbarian (hopefully soon )

Conan the Destroyer (not likely, but you never know. There's a chance it might come with the first movie, or both are released at the same time)

My Science Project (not likely, but I hope it does )

Smokey and the Bandit (likely. It's already out in the UK, and seeing that other import-only discs like "Daylight," "Dante's Peak," "Demolition Man," etc are all getting US releases now, this one should be coming along soon I think)

The Core (oh God no... Seriously though, I doubt any time soon)

The Time Machine (60s version, or the remake? Eh, it's probably not likely either way )

Bicentennial Man (possibly)

Dragonslayer (probably not, but I hope it does )

Dragon Heart (probably not, but I hope it does too. Seeing as it was once available on HD-DVD, I think it's more likely than "Dragonslayer")

Blade: the Complete Series (holy crap, I forgot all about this show. Don't think it did well enough to merit a BD release. If it does get one, it'll probably be after the movies get released, which will happen sooner or later)

It was rumored, possibly even planned, that The Wraith would get a blu-ray release when they did that Special Edition awhile back, but it only came out on DVD unfortunately. I don't know if that's a really bad sign, or if that means it's basically done but they didn't think it'd sell enough to produce it.

I just want the Conan films and the original Time Machine (the remake was horrible) from that list. We will probably get the Conan films in the next year or two, but it will probably take longer for The Time Machine.

Both Conan films have been announced overseas, so we will be getting them this year. Thanks crappy remake!

Smokey & Bandit has also been released overseas. Expect it later this year.

Most of the list should get a BD release eventually.
