Default Fnac Boxset without movie, redeem or not?

As you know recenty Fnac's selling some pre-sell boxset which doesn't include any blu-ray inside. It is supposed to be limited to 1500 units by the way (but they are going to re-release Tron: Legacy with the movie inside). So far we have Tron: Legacy and Sucker Punch

This boxes inside comes with a card for you to redeem the movie when it release.

As you know there are OCD collector's that keeps item sealed in there collection... the question is, would you make an exception and open it to get the card, so you can redeem the movie???

The way I see it, the package isn't complete without the feature inside. So yes, I'd tear that seal up.

I have voted.

I'm not a sealed-only collector, no. I keep things sealed until I actually use them, so I can sell them as new if ever I never got to watch the movie and ended up not wanting to own it anymore.

Victors, if someone truly is a 'sealed' collector, that means they want mint-in-package collectibles. That means that they would not want an opened package even if it was to redeem the movie.

The movie itself is common. It's the 'collectibles inside' that they are after.

Die-hard collectors would want the original condition that you would get if you bought the set from the retail store. That would mean an unopened set.

What I think about the die-hard collector is another issue entirely!

Victors

as a collector I would also like to see what's inside and in editions like to see this too and so I open my Editon all. It would make no sense to me, to let closed. But everyone should decide for themselves. I own Tron and Sucker Punch and love this Editonen opend

I also have my Steel Books, with a few exceptions, open like my fav Steelbooks Iron Man and I Am Legend from Future Shop and i love it to look at my clear Steelboos

And the next Edition without the Movie by FNAC comes out on 25. Mai:

X-Men : Le commencement - Coffret de pré-réservation - Spécifique Fnac, Inclus le Comics - le T-Shirt - la Lithographie et la Carte cadeau Fnac

Bah made a mistake, the pool will end tomorrow

Olorin you miss the point. This is for die-hard collector's who always keep the boxset sealed. But in this case I'm divided.

Actually I have the same issue with Alien Anthology Egg. Cause it has the battery inside and time goes by the battery will oxidate and damage th electronics. So I still have it sealed but still question about open it.

Yes right

ok for only die-hard collectors it is so i think a no go this Editions to buy .

With the Alien Egg it´s a problem with the battery also as th US Tron Limited Edition. But i think today the battery´s will not so fast oxidate. I have some watches where the battery is more then 5 year´s inside and the dont oxidate
