Game recommendations?

Hey guys, was wanting to know what are some killer games for the PS3. I am into rpgs, racing, and I know madden is the football game of choice for most. I'd like to know what is good in those categories.

you should def check out heavenly sword, CoD 4, and assasins creed. All 3 are kick ass games.

All the titles mentioned are great, ad if you're into rpg's, you should check out Oblivion if you haven't already. To do everything in that game will run you 300+ hours.

If you can handle its shortcomings (few modes, no split screen), then get MotorStorm for all your racing needs. It's gorgeous, and online is fun.

720p (IGN had it as Best PS3 graphics of the year, Tommy Telerico of Electric Playground gave it a 10/10. Up to 7.1 PCM for sound can't beat it. Transformers HD DUD only has Dolby Digital + for god sakes
FSP: Call of Duty 4 (publisher: Activision & Infinity Ward) It's a short game but after you have beat it there is always on line it is so fun. 10/10 Victor Lucas Electric Playground

i def forgot bout burnout paradise. another one to look for ward to metal gear solid and socom. they are gonna be kick ass games. dont forget the CoD 4 is in 1080p, one of the few games out there.

I can not in any good conscience recommend Madden '08 on the PS3 because of EA's shoddy treatment of that version (30fps framerate versus 60fps on the other consoles). EA has promised to do better for the next round, however, so look for Madden '09 when it comes out.

gotta have heavenly sword, assasins creed is good, but it gets old fast in my opinion. Call of duty 4, resistance fall of man is another good shooter too.

Uncharted and Motorstorm have got the most play from my collection. Folklore as well. Download TekkenR if you're into fighting games. Online play and addictive gameplay =)
