Default Organizing your bookmarks/favourites?

I don't have my IE9 Favourites folder organized in any way, so I have to scroll down the list to find a certain page. Often times it's easier just to type the URL, so I guess it's kinda pointless saving them.

I need some heavy-duty intervention from some of the gurus here as to some ideas for keeping those favourite URL's properly organized. The vast majority of my faves are audio, music and PC based URL's.

I'll take any and all suggestions for improving my current lack of organization. I need help! LOL!

I organize mine with folders (and sub-folders) to cut down on the length of the list and hide the things that I don't use daily but don't want to have to search for again when needed. I have the ones I use daily in the main section that appears when you click favorites/bookmarks. I make sure the list is small enough to fit on the screen so I don't have to do any scrolling and I keep them in alphabetical order so they're easy to find.

Sometimes, when I'm in a hurry, I'll just add new links to the main section but unless it's something I plan to use frequently, I eventually file it under the proper folder or sub-folder.

Finally started organizing my favourites/bookmarks. I started with an AUDIO folder, to which I then added AMPLIFIERS, SPEAKERS, SOURCES, ACCESSORIES subfolders. I'm thinking of splitting the SOUCES subfolder into ANALOGUE and DIGITAL components. It's a start!

It's an online bookmarks/favourites storage site. You can organize your favourites using tags. I think they have plugins for all the major browsers.
