Out of Curiosity, I will checkout the PrimeSuspect remake, but doubt that it will be anywhere as great as the original. Helen Mirren is a tough act to follow.

Yeah I just found out it was a remake of the UK mini series a few days ago. Haven't seen the original yet but it's been on my to watch list.

I highly recommend, you won't regret it.

Which actress got the lead role in NBC's version, once read about Maria Bello and Julianne Moore being considered.

Cool will have to check it out soon then.

Not sure I can't find any casting news for this show or anything new really except it got picked up.

Okay thanks, too bad NBC didn't consider FNL Connie Britton for the lead.

But Bello is a solid actress, hope the writers give her great material to work with.

NBC Picks Up Playboy, Grimm and Awake

From 20th Century FOX TV, Playboy stars Amber Heard and centers on the Playboy Club in Chicago in 1963 while Awake stars Jason Isaacs (The Patriot, Harry Potter films) as an brain-injured cop who spends time solving cases in two different realities.

Grimm, from Angel's David Greenwalt, is about a cop investigating crimes in a world populated by real life fairy tale characters.

Really happy that Grimm and Playboy were picked up and hopefully they can survive past the first season.

'Harry's Law,' 'Parenthood' Renewed By NBC; 'Wonder Woman' Apparently Nixed

Apparently, NBC has also passed on Wonder Woman, which our previously reliable source had told us would be picked up.

Adrienne could and should do so much better than that. Hopefully there is still time for her to jump onto another series. I have so far been very happy with the way the fall is developing in terms of pickups on the shows I've been very high on and the death of those I have not been interested in. Not to mention so far there has only been one existing show casualty I was sad to hear of, but not in the least bit surprised.

Yeah really looking forward to the shows that have gotten picked up and the only one I'm disappointed isn't coming back so far is Chicago Code but expected it so no big surprise there.
