I just bought Con Air and Sunshine on BluRay

I was at Best Buy and they had both movies out and on the shelf with little ad tags infront of them. I was waiting for them to come out and picked them up quick as I saw them. Dont they come out tuesday??

I hear Best Buy has a habit of doing this.

Breaking street dates seems to have become common practice now. But to answer your question, yes, they are streeted for January 8th.

Not in my area. I never seem to find them early or if I do, they don't allow it to ring through (usually this happens at CC).

I ordered Man on Fire from FRYS thurs they had it as an early release so I should get it Monday.

I never see movies released early in any of local Best Buy stores. I can wait until tuesday...going to use that new $20 off the purchase of three blu-ray movies, which somebody was kind enough to provide in another thread

I called the 3 Frys around my area and they all said they had it... in storage waiting to be released on Tuesday.

me neither, I never see them out, and lately I have been on the hunt, BB, CC, Walmart, Target, anywhere and nothing ?

I didnt see Man on Fire, or The Rock. If Id seen Rock Id of bought that instead of Con Air.

I see that it happens more with older titles. I guess the employees dont pay much attention to the street date and just put it out. Sometimes new titles too.....I don't know how it happens though.

I've gotten two movies early: Rush Hour 3 and Sunshine. Somebody on these boards said they found it early at a Wal-Mart (Sunshine) in a completely different state and I went to mine and there was a huge stack of them. Thank God for the ineptitude of Wal-Mart employees nationwide. I actually got it on Thursday. If you want it early, I would check out Wal-Mart even though I hate going there due to the high density of hillbillies.

I saw Conair at best buy last thursday and i wished i had brought it, was short with cash and ic ame back, 6 copies was gone on friday! I figured... People got excited that warner went blu exclusive, went to best buy to celebrate and buy WB movie and saw Conair was out. They brought it too...

oh well, Whats up with Sunshine? is it a good sci fi movie?

Thats funny because when I rarely go there is a whole lot of Mexicans near mine (It's okay I can say it because I'm Mexican too). Then a whole lot of rich people in another one, also nearby.
