Luc Besson's The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc-Sec (Les aventures extraordinaires d'Adèle Blanc-Sec) will be released by Optimum on August 15. Two different versions are being released (the only difference is one is just a Blu-ray and the other is a BD + DVD combo).

**Note - no official coverart has been released at the moment, so it is unknown if the covers will differ from one another.

I liked it a lot, but not sure if I'd recommend it. I have a love/hate relationship with Besson at the best of times, so the fact that I enjoyed this is pretty much the highest praise I've ever had for the guy.

I feel the same way about Besson and haven't liked anything of his since Leon. But the trailer for this looks like a lot of fun. I might just end up blind buying this, if the price isn't crazy.

From what I just heard on another thread about Adele Blanc-Sec, the studio that's releasing it is only doing B locked blus now

I'm trying to find out from others if the China release, which has English subs, also has the original French DTS audio track...
