Theatrical you crazy person, I've only read and heard of the Director's cut, and my friend who says this is his fave film ever says he refuses to watch that cut, so, so will I

I actually enjoy the DC. I liked the added explanation to make at least a little sense of the whole confusing spiel. I liked the added SFX, even if they are really weird or low-quality. It was a fuller experience for me.

The theatrical cut just felt like too much was missing, and I prefered the added SFX during the
[Show spoiler]time traveling
scene.

But that's just me; I saw the DC first, so I'm biased.

Theatrical for me. Movie feels too long and drawn out in the director's cut.

The theatrical cut is my preferred version. I really like the additional scenes in the director's cut, and had Richard Kelly left it at the reinstatement of those scene, I likely would've preferred it. However, he also had to change the music around and also remove the film's air of mystery with those superimposed extracts from the book...

couldn't stand the director's cut. Saw it for the first time last year. Decided to take a chance. Didn't like the description scenes trying to water it down and I REALLY didn't like the change of the soundtrack. That did it for me.

Love the theatrical. Couldn't even make it through the Director's Cut.

I prefer DC. I accidentally watched it first and I have a soft spot for it.
