X-MEN Trilogy re-release question

I noticed there is a re-release of the trilogy set for X-Men. On the site, it simply lists it as a 3-disc set. Is that true? Is there no special features discs in the re-release?

Pretty sure they're 4-discs, as they come in thicker cases...

I'm talking about the trilogy set, not the individual releases. You can get the trilogy set for $15 on amazaon.ca. But it is the re-released version that came out a couple weeks ago.

WTF? 4 discs per movie? If that's the case I'm guessing there are DVD copies of each film and digital copies.

If I recall, the 4 discs are:

#1 Blu-Ray: Movie
#2 Blu-ray: Special Features
#3 DVD: DVD-Copy
#4 DVD: Digital Copy


Could be mistaken, but I can check at home. I bought the trilogy set when it first came out.

The newer box set didn't say that it included either the DVD or digital copies I thought, making each just 3 discs but with all extras.

The original box set had 2 BRs per movie for more extras, I imagine this box set will just be disc 1 from these two-disc sets.

The original box set was 9 discs, 2 BRs per movie and then a DC DVD. There were no DVD versions in the original box set.

Re-read my post buddy.

That's the 1st box set you're talking about, we are not. There is a new one that has just a basic slipbox & am pretty sure it just says Blu-ray + Digital Copy on the top banner.

I will double check when I'm out tomorrow... Like I said earlier, I believe it has 3 discs per film in the new box (2x BDs including ALL extras, 1x DVD/Digital copy disc). All has yet to be confirmed.

The individual re-releases seem to have 4 discs. Someone posted a picture of the back cover. 2 BDs, 1 DVD, 1 DC.

FINAL CLARIFICATION:

Each is available as 4-disc BD/DVD/DC sets. The new box set IS exactly as I thought, 6 BDs & 3 DCs, no DVD copies. Box set 9 discs (content exactly the same as the earlier box set), Individuals add up to 12 discs. All releases have all extras.

I have the previous boxset. I hadn't tried out the codes yet. Though this thread reminded me. Mine says MAY not be valid after April 20, 2011. So for giggles I tried to redeem with iTunes.

At first I got some weird pop up that I needed the latest iTunes which I do have. I googled. So this is what I did:
Go into iTunes FIRST.
Go to the store.
Pop in the digital disc.
A pop up comes up where you can redeem the code and you have to put in your iTunes info.
Put code in and it works!

I am now going to be putting the 3rd movie code in.
Blah, currently movie 3 is giving me problems.
Edited to add: got movie 3 to work. Had to get out of iTunes and then back in again.

I also decided to try out the codes for the newer X-Men movies and the Wolverine ones. Even though some were past their date I was able to get all movies into iTunes.
