Well they should take note of it. Lionsgate are pulling a few out of their hat, now Paramount are doing the same, it's about time Fox stepped up. They don't need to give me anything major right now, just Home Alone 2 and more importantly Mrs Doubtfire. I also really hope Paramount will give us a UK release of South Park: BL&U this year, unless Warner still owns the UK rights to it.

I really hope we finally get Mrs Doubtfire by the end of this year, if we do I will no longer diss Fox so much as it is pretty much the only catalogue title I want from Fox so much that has yet to get a UK release.

Paramount have currently pulled A Beautiful Mind from they're release schedule.

If they decide to release it in the future I shall update this thread again.

Woop woop! Great film!

Still waiting on The Village, anyone know who owns the rights to that one? Might send them an email!

The Village (2004) is Disney, so unfortunately you may be waiting a while as Disney seem very slow in releasing catalogue titles, especially non-animated ones.

Really? Wow, I didn't have it down as Disney! Just for future reference, how do you find out who release films? Is is the distributor? Producer?

Once this edition gets officially released, can you please post the specs for this Paramount release? (languages, subtitles, if the disc is region locked or free, etc.)
I'd really appreciate that.

Cheers.

Now just let's hope it's region free. Most Paramount titles are region-free so the chances are quite good.

I've a horrible feeling, that it'll share the same master as the Universal release.

How will this compare it the North American release in terms of PQ/AQ?

It was a Touchstone Pictures film.

Touchstone is the brand for more adult-oriented films produced by Disney.
