Taxi Drive - Issue With Audio?

During the scene where Deniro is talking to the Secret Service agent, there appears to be some crackling in the audio mix. Do I have a defective disc or is that actually part of the soundtrack. I thought my cat was scratching at something and paused the disc and it stopped. Started the disc and it started back up again. It tends to start around the time Deniro is giving his name and address and continues to the end of the scene.

Anyone else hear it?

I'm pretty sure I know the scene you're describing, it's right after he shaves his Mohawk isn't it, but I don't have my Blu-ray with me until tomorrow to check my copy. I thought Id post and point out that you could make it easier for someone to investigate by posting the time at which the blip occurs.

No, it is before he shaves his head. It is at an outdoor speech, but he hasn't shaved yet. He talks extensively with the Secret Service agent who takes his name and address to "send" him some SS info. He then goes off.

The scene at the rally where his head is shaved, he is chased off by the SS, but doesn't talk to them. By then, they know he is dangerous.
