Default The Exorcist 40th Anniversary Edition 2013

Hello

I would love to see a Fully restored and remastered edition of William Friedkin's 1973 Masterpiece "The Exorcist" which celebrates it's 40th Anniversary in 2013.

It would be nice to see a stand alone version of director Friedkin's cut of the film which for many of us purists is the definitive version of the film.

I would like to see the Original features from the 2 disc 25th anniversary dvd restored along with the film for Blu-ray.

Please include the original Artwork too in a standard Blu-ray (non digibook) case.

I would respectfully ask that Author William Blatty's cut of the film (aka "The version you shouldn't see) NOT be included in this new edition.

A feature on ...reflections 40 years later might be interesting too with surviving cast members.

Thoughts?

The theatrical version is already on Blu-ray and looks quite good.

I'm quite happy with my digibook.

The original cut is already out. I really don't understand the point of this thread at all.

Yeah. I heard the release was rather excellent. Best of both worlds is it not, the Director's Cut and TE?
