Alternatively you can go to the craft section in Walmart and buy a small "easel" for $2-$3 (thats what I use).

Walmart has metal easels that are perfect for displaying steels. I use them my self.

Not sure where you can only order 20 but for $0.06 a pop, a lot of 100 is a pretty good deal. Doesn't hurt to have extras in case these ever go out of print, too.

What do you think? i want your opinions..... lets say you have steelbooks in your collection, do you really have to have Sleeves to protect it? i mean doesnt it suck having to remove the sleeve everytime you want to view the movie? or do you not just view the movie at all? or you just keep your steels there on the shelf without sleeves?

Yes it's a bit of pain to remove the sleeves but you'd be surprised how easily some steelbooks can get smudged with fingerprints. Better to be safe than sorry. Protect those babies like diamonds!!

I don't like those stands at all and over 8$ per 1 is just way too much especially when you have over 100. I use the plastic easels and they're usually between 1-2$ per

I love the 14mm sleeves from Protected.de. They are perfectly sized for SteelBook and have a small flap with the adhesive on the outside of the sleeve, not the inside of the flap.

I also like Protected.de's SteelBook slipcovers, but they don't protect the bottom of the SteelBook which can lead to shelf wear.

I think the slipcovers look better than sleeves, but I actually had a bit of shelf wear develop on my Salt SteelBook, so I switched to a combination of sleeve plus slipcover.

For stands I like these ... http://www.amazon.com/Amazon-6-pack-...=33S0PPQNQFFNX ... and I use a variant of them.

Does Protected.de ship to the States? I'm at the checkout now and not seeing an option to ship to the United States. Thanks.

Are these stands or can they be used purely as sleeves? I ask as I like the look of these as sleeves, but have no need for stands, cheers.

I used to collect hockey cards when one day it hit me. Just use my hockey card stands as steelbook stand and boom it worked perfectlly. Plus there clear/see thru so they dont stand out. They are made by Ultra Pro just go to a hobby shop in your town.
