When I brought my ps3 home on 1/11/07 needless to say I was very exited, but what I dicovered excited me even more ! After everything was set up and I played my first game I poped in the only bluray movie I owened at the time on a SDTV (Underworld :eveoloution) and it played! For the last year I've read several articals adamently stating that you had to have a Hi-def with an HDMI connection in order to watch any blurays. Has anyone else experienced this?

They have not enabled the protection on any of the blu-rays movies that enables the hdmi only at the present time but could happen in the future

mmm.. if you're refering to the ICT flag, what that would do would be to limit the resolution to 540 x 960 on non HDCP displays.
