So if you got Carlos, then you'll want to get on their mailing lists to get a fixed version of disc 2. Once again Criterion proves why their the best at what it is that they do.

This sort of thing must take up a LOT of Criterion's time, effort and money.

If only they'd fully check these discs. It's not like they're bargain bin print runs.

Not heard a peep yet on a replacement disc -keeping this going as this was an expensive investment. Come on Criterion!

Having to 'send it back' is very annoying but hopefully this will happen soon or I'll be delaying all my Criterion purchases for 6 months from now on so they can iron out the ****-ups post distribution.

I was going to send back the copy I got during the last sale they had until they had a replacement. So, I sent them an email and this is what they said:

Hello,

There is no need send in your CARLOS blu-ray for a refund. I can simply put the replacement in the mail for you. If you could respond to this email with your mailing address, I will place the replacement in the mail for you.

Sent them my mailing address and got the replacement disc 2 in 2 days. Nice!

Glad you liked it.. I especially loved the Wire tracks! If you haven't done so already.. make sure you send in your disc 2 for the corrected version if you have the first printing.... I bought my Carlos first day of the B&N sale and sent my disc the following day and already got my corrected disc + gift card.

At this point I do not own it as I watched a copy my friend has. I started it the last day of the BN sale so I did not pick it up at this time. I will pick this up during the next sale - considering I just watched I'm good for a while, though I already gave it back to him and wish I still had it to watch the special features. I guess not watching them will give me something to look forward to.

As far as the soundtrack goes it was great hearing those songs again - to me it worked really well with the film.
