Well, day one for me if they ever decide to release VG on blu... I have the DVD, but it was the first one that was release on DVD, so the quality isn't all that great. I have been holding out until VG is released on blu.
Whoever is responsible for GV to be released on blu, hurry up! |

Hoping Shout Factory might scoop this one up, but the '80s teen films don't seem to be their style (they seem to stick strictly to horror / action).
MGM put out a special edition with a bunch of extras for their first pressing, but then yanked all the extras for future pressings (they did the same thing for the DVDs of Jeepers Creepers and Legally Blonde, but the extras ended up reappearing on their blu-rays). It's a shame to have all those extras go to waste... |

Valley Girl and Real Genius -- both directed by Martha Coolidge -- are two 80s gems that need to be released on blu-ray!

I'm almost certain that Arrow will license this one - they're already releasing another "cultish" 80's teen sex comedy - Last American Virgin, which I can't wait to get my hands on. It's nice to see these films get all the dirt brushed off from being buried for so long and shone a spotlight on for the digital age.

this really needs to come out on Blu-ray or better yet 4K UHD. I am all 4k UHD and DVDs do not always look good on it. They are very grainy. Blu-rays look great so at least a Blu-ray release would be nice. Suburbia would also be nice to have on blu ray. I don't know about the music rights, I can't believe a bunch of little known bands wouldn't want to make some money off the re release
