Default Original Mass Effect on PS3?

Will we ever see the first chapter come out for the PS3 or will it stay 360 & PC exclusive?

Hopefully Bioware will do what Team Ninja did for Ninja Gaiden and release Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

Hopefully Bioware will release Mass Effect on PS3 sometime in the near future.

The first Mass Effect is published by Microsoft, so highly unlikely will we ever see Mass Effect 1 on PS3.

That's why it pays to be a multi console owner. You get the best of both worlds.

EA owns the rights to Mass Effect now. They COULD release it on PS3, but its not economically feasible for them to do so.

I would love for them to make a ME1 redux, in which it has the same story and decisions as ME1, but the combat and XP use ME3 and Mako is replaced with the craft used in ME2.

Now THAT would be awesome.

I agree. ME1 redone with ME2 combat/controls would be awesome. Its sooooo hard to play ME1 after playing ME2 first.

ME1 really needs to be played on PC to be appreciated anyway. The 360 version is lackluster, to say the least. Very slow loading times, texture pop-in galore, and somewhat flaky controls on top of the RPG-like accuracy.

For anyone who really wants to play ME1, you owe it to yourself to play it on PC.

The biggest problem I had with the 360 is it turned into a slide show in combat. Number of enemies didn't seem to matter either, you could get the bad stuttering even in combat against a single enemy.

I totally agree, get it on PC.

I've had the 360 version for over 2 years but I've only ever put about ~3 hours into it. I tried to start it back up last week but just couldn't get into it after playing ME2 for so long. I might as well just hang onto it instead of getting the PC version unless I can find it somewhere for cheap.

The PC version frequently goes on sale for under $10 for digital downloads.
