PSNStores Top 25 PSN Exclusives

Every once in a while we get asked what our favorite PSN titles are. Most the time I spout off five or so of what I consider to be must haves. Recently we decided that a definitive list for the site would be a good idea. This comes after reading IGN.com’s list and not agreeing with it one bit (opinions!).

So after writing down every PSN exclusive (I consider games not on Xbox 360 as exclusive) in a huge Google Doc, the boys and I went on Skype and whittled it down to 25. There were some games that were so close to making the list, shout-outs to Comet Crash and Siren, but we think we have a set of 25 bangers.

If you hate clicks, skip right to here. The final page has all 25 titles so you can call us hideous names in the comments for leaving out your favorite PSN title. But we do have a little write up for each one with a trailer if you do care to see why it makes the cut.

OVERVIEW

Released in twelve downloadable episodes, SIREN: Blood Curse™ delivers a haunting and horrifying story exclusively to PS3. In SIREN: Blood Curse, players are pulled into an epic tale with realistic gameplay and graphics complemented by chilling cut scenes. The unique “sight jack” system allows the player to see from the point of view of the Shibito, or living dead, to avoid their detection or anxiously watch as they close in. Intense graphics, realistic character animation, and a gritty film-like graphical presentation add to the horror of SIREN: Blood Curse.

STORY

Set in the Japanese village of Hanuda, an American TV crew has arrived to research and film an exposé on the legend of a “vanished village.” Controlling seven different playable characters, the player must discover the mystery behind the curse that grips the eerie village of Hanuda.

FEATURES

• Epic Story - spread across 12 dramatic episodes, SIREN: Blood Curse will feature interactive scenarios and gripping cut scenes in each episode to keep players on the edge of their seats
• Enhanced ‘Sight Jack’ System – the automatic and seamless sight jack system allows players to see exactly what their enemies see
• Playable Characters – players will control seven playable characters throughout the haunting story
• Fatal Moves - Sneak past the deadly Shibito or take them head on with over 50 kinds of weapons, each with unique fatal finishing move animations
• Archive System - lets player unlock a variety of story clues and important background information

Once Oddworld Stranger's Wrath HD releases, that should be up there too.

Can't believe High Velocity Bowling isn't in the top 25 (is it an exclusive?). Out of the ones listed, I really like:

The bolded ones below are the ones I own. I would vehemently disagree with some of the ones on this list. I think other people seem to rate Critter Crunch and Spelunker HD way higher than I would.

Also is Savage Moon not a PSN Exclusive? There's really no reason for it not to be on the list if its a PSN Exclusive. Easily one of the top games on the PSN, and probably the best tower defense game I've seen.

The fact that PJ Monsters, Noby Noby Boy, and Spelunker HD is on there and this isn't is a travesty*

*provided Savage Moon is a PSN Exclusive.

Savage Moon (PS3/PSP) and Eat Them! (PS3) are SCE published, so yes.
