Default Add another amp?

Hey guys, I just got the Anthem MRX-300 to go with my Emotiva XPA-3. I love the sound. I ran the ARC setup and its awesome. The Anthem is obviously powering the rears. I was thinking about adding either a UPA-2 for the rears, or adding and XPA-2 for the front left and right and have the XPA-3 power the center and rears, or add another XPA-3 and have an extra channel to biamp the center or something. What do you guys think? I also saw and Anthem MCA50 5 channel amp on sale for $1699 which I would sell the XPA-3 if I did that. Would the Anthem amp be better than the Emotiva? My speakers are Mirage OMD-28's, OMD-C2 and OMD-R's.

If i could get a Anthem MCA 50 for 1700 dollars i would be all over it . Its like comparing a Mercedes to a Volkswagon in performance....

I've owned both Emo amps and Anthem, I'd say you'd get a bigger gain by upgrading your subs rather than sinking more money into amps. If your really set on another amp though my preference was the Anthem over Emo.

IMO, unless you play a lot of multichannel music (ex. SACD/DVD-A), I would experiment on bi-amping the front stage first before adding amplification to the surround speakers. Your Anthem should have more than enough juice to handle surround duties in movies.
