I finally did drive a car that handled like it did pre patch and that was the Koenigsegg loaner. The FF seemed to have dropped off too for the next race with the Gumpert but the handling was better. I am wondering if sometimes the patch doesn't load right.

that is exactly what I experienced. I had to delete it and re-download it for it to start working again.

Hoping a restart will do it. Like I said, the next race seemed better. Who knows. I can re-download if I need though. When the game is working, I like the presentation, its more extreme to me then GT5, more what I would consider race like. I've been in races where I need to break out and drive by the seat of my pants more often in this game. Sometimes it works, sometimes I get out front and hit a wall, lol. Some spectacular crashes, love them.


EDIT: I was an hour behind the Indy 500 and did not know how it ended when I wrote that!

2 DLC packs in the store. 1 is the historic cars/tracks. The other is a high speed drag pack with cars and drag strip.

When you buy the classic racing pack, you get all the cars for free. You still have to go and choose them from the car lot though. It adds another section on the far right past GT1. My first race, first turn.

I know many wanted this in GT5. I use automatic, so I suck at drag racing. But here is the trailer for the new Speedhunters pack.

Except that's $20 of DLC. The game can easily be had for $40 right now, some got it at Best Buy last week for $25. You must really be a fan, 3 posts in a row about that DLC.

This game isn't work an extra 10-20 dollars unfortunately. I really wanted to like this game too.

The game is an IGN Editor's Choice. Its not dull like GT5.

And? So did Call of Duty. IGN doesn't mean jack. There are plenty of average games on that "choice" list.

Its not dull like GT5.
