FNAC just shipped out 5 copies of Tron 3D in an amaray case, even though I ordered steelbook.

I may be French but I can't help you sorry :/
Concerning the Tron steelbook, I think it might already be OOP.
I've been in two Fnac last week and no more steelbook, only the amaray version.

Based on my experience, it may take several weeks for dispute resolution with FNAC as they don't have proper English customer support.

I would rate them as the worst online retailer based in France.

Don't tell me about it. Its so annoying. I had to communicate about a dozen time to make them understand a simple issue.

I've always had a bad experience trying to communicate with FNAC as well - they usually just ignore me. What a contrast to El Corte Ingles, who couldn't be more helpful in all the inquiries I've made with them.

Easy way should be if you ask a french member here to help you out with it.
I have had the same problem, and i was lucky that a member on other forum could help me to fix all the problems.

I tried contacting them three times this year, but they never reply. I guess none of their employees speaks English.

I have learned this. Always pay by PayPal to the best possible extent as its quite easy to open a dispute and get it resolved when the timer expires.

mams on another forum phoned them, they were told because the movie is the same they have sent the correct item even though its not a steelbook. and wont pay anything towards the postage which would cost $40 AUD to send back.

Decided to let VISA sort it out. Worst online company Ive dealt with...

Maybe FNAC are good for French speaking customers or for in-store purchases. They are a nightmare when it comes to sorting out issues. I was about to give up 60 GBP of my hard earney money but persistent emails paid off although I lost 6 GBP in the end for no fault of mine. Sometimes, I get better service even at eBay.

Going forward, I have decided to use PayPal for payment (if its supported by the retailer) as it becomes handy when it comes to resolving disputes.

Too true ,

PayPal is the only way to protect yourself these days !!

But only If you dont send as a "Gift" If I have any problems now I just put a dispute in

I just try to get the Local guys to get steels for me know ~!!

I must say that Amazon (CA) has very good online customer support ~ !!

Never had problems Amazon except Amazon.it who can't respond in English.

Amazon means Customer Service and they can never be surpassed by registered online retailers.
