Default Resealable Outer Sleeves: Where do people buy theirs?

As the title indicates, I am looking for the good source of resealable outer sleeves. I am looking for a good quality while spending as little as possible. Thanks.

Where are you located? There is a record store called Star Records in Oshawa (148 Simcoe St. S), they sell all kinds of sleeves (open and sealed outer, paper and polyester inner, plastic and paper 45s).

I met the owner at a record show, haven't been up to visit the store yet, but i ended up getting 100 outer sleeves (not resealable, I hate those and avoid them whenever possible ) and 100 polyester inner sleeves for around $15.

This may have been a "show" price though, keep that in mind.

I know you were probably expecting an online store as a reply, but I just figured if you are around Toronto/Oshawa, you may want to give this place a try.

Thanks for the replies.

I am in California, and I have searched several stores. The ones that carry sleeves with a flap have the Bags Unlimited one... and it is quite thin. I like the flap b/c it does a better job of keeping dust and hairs out, esp coupled with the MoFi sleeves. The few sleeves I have are from a dealer I ran into a record swap... he just gave me 10 b/c I bought some records from him. He was an awesome guy and gave me some great prices on things like discontinued Mofi Records. You know, one of those guys that just wants to talk to you about music. Never got his info (just first name)... been to a few swaps since then, but I have not seen him.

The elusive disc one seems nice but is kinda more than I want to spend on sleeves.

Has anyone tried Sleeve City's Diskeeper Resealable 3 mil Outer LP Sleeves?

Thanks again.

I'll second the Elusive Disc sleeves.

The Sleeve City sleeves are pretty good. I am satisfied though the only problem is that they are somewhat large, which causes a fold when sealing the record.

Good to know. Thanks. I found a local record shop that sells the Japanese ones for $0.30 each. Someone mentioned that there are some Japanese ones that are not good. How can I tell? What were the problems with the inferior ones?

I know this seems trivial, but I want to get this right the first time rather than buying several versions of the same item. Thanks everyone.

if your referring to me, what i got overseas wasnt from japan. they were from the netherlands or someplace around there. seems half of them didnt fit and were not squared (botton corner of jacket fit one corner of sleeve but didnt reach the other corner). the best thing to do is find a supply, and test them out. the resealable ones i found locally didnt feel as good as the elusive disc ones but they did the job.

Not sure if that's possible as everyone has different criteria. As un4gvn94538 said....try out different ones.
